Rahul Mehta – CEO and Principal

Rahul Mehta is the founder and CEO of SapperOne Consulting, a business transformation consulting firm. Rahul has more than 15 years of experience advising clients on how to plan, design, and implement business transformation initiatives. He has successfully guided numerous Fortune 500 firms in transforming corporate and IT strategy, business process improvement, social computing, and technology implementations. Currently Rahul is focused on developing business transformation strategies that will allow SapperOne's clients to capture the opportunities offered through social computing paradigms and technologies. Prior to founding SapperOne, Rahul led successful consulting engagements for major consulting firms such as Deloitte and Hitachi Consulting. Rahul has an MBA from the Drucker School of Management and a Bachelors of Computer Engineering from Jadavpur University in Calcutta, India.

Sunil Maulik – Strategic Advisor, Healthcare & Social Computing

Sunil Maulik has over 24 years of experience in Silicon Valley. He has been a co-founder of three software companies: MonetaSuite, an analytics company, where he patented a system for analyzing workplace productivity; 500Friends, where he helped develop a social e-commerce platform; and GeneEd, where he was founding CEO and developed a system for healthcare e-learning.

Prior to GeneEd, Sunil was VP of Business Development at Pangea Systems (a Kleiner-Perkins funded bioinformatics company) Head of West-Coast sales for Tripos, a company that went public in 1996 (NASDAQ: TRPS), and an Applications Scientist at Oxford Molecular and IntelliGenetics. Sunil has a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Brandeis University, an M.Sc. in Crystallography from Birkbeck College, London, and B.Sc.’s in Physics & Biology (join honors) from King’s College, London. He sits on the boards of Acteva Inc. and Health2.0, and has been an adjunct faculty member at UC Berkeley. He is the author of “Molecular Biotechnology” published by John Wiley & Sons (with Dr. Salil D. Patel).
