Our client was executing the final phase of its ERP applications merger integration. The project team spanned three geographies and the scope of the project practically impacted every single corporate business process. SapperOne helped the client run the merger PMO and helped successfully deploy the merged business processes and applications across the three regions.
Shared Service Business Process DesignWith the help of SapperOne’s CIO framework, we helped design the overall business process map for the setup and rollout of the IT operations for a shared services organization for North America. We worked with our client sponsors to help drive consensus on the standard business process map. We then implemented a few key business processes with the client team to make them operational and also transferred the working knowledge of the business processes to the client staff.
Oracle ERP rollout and Process TransformationSapperOne managed a program for a client to rollout Oracle ERP projects functionality for multiple business units. Our consultants managed all aspects of the project related to the system implementation, business process transformation, change management, and training. We helped our clients drive consensus to a common solution for the rollout. We developed the solution, tested it, and deployed the application to all business unit stakeholders.
Global PMO DeliverySapperOne assisted a client in the capacity of a program management lead for the rollout of a business driven program for partners and suppliers. We helped meet business objectives of streamlining processes and improving revenue growth by 25% over a three year period. We worked with stakeholders from multiple business groups to drive and direct the development and rollout of the program.
Outsourcing PMOSapperOne was assigned in a team leadership capacity to manage all the outsourcing activities for two business units of our client's company. We managed the definition of the onsite-offsite operational mode, the setup of the offshore team and outsourcing processes in India and Singapore. We also developed and executed an outsourcing roadmap to transfer business applications over a period of six months. The PMO was able to realize synergies of over $50 million over a course of five years.
Cost ManagementOur client was undergoing a major transformation initiative to implement a new organizational structure and financial incentives. SapperOne worked with senior management to understand their vision and financial goals which had to be met. We helped orchestrate the implementation of the new organizational structure to ensure better accountability and improved productivity. We aligned corporate programs with business objectives and drove consensus on financial models. We also helped define the change management approach to mitigate project risk.
Merger Clean-TeamSapperOne worked closely with business unit leadership to develop world-wide merger integration plans that aligned with the overall corporate merger strategy. We worked alongside their project team to identify and develop fifty post-merger integration programs. We also prepared post merger playbooks that included product roadmaps, channel strategy, branding decisions, and factory consolidation plans.
IT TransformationSapperOne assisted a client's senior management to transform a de-centralized IT group to a global centralized IT group. We implemented standardized processes to cut operating costs and drive consistency and efficiencies in the organization. We also worked with the CIO staff to create a three year balanced score card that tied operational and financial results.
